Walk starts at 9am and is 2 hours long depending on how fast we walk and how many coffee/photo stops we have.
Area covered: Blair Plain, Duxton Hill, Kreta Ayer district of Chinatown.
Streets and Roads visited:
Blair Rd, Everton Rd, Spottiswoode Park Rd, Neil Rd, Cantonment Rd, Bukit Pasoh Rd, Keong Saik Rd, Kreta Ayer, Duxton Hill.
We will see: beautiful residential 1920-1930s baroque Peranakan Shophouses.
We will pause by legendary Baba House on Neil Rd for a quick introduction.
We will enjoy the Singapore nostalgic murals by local artist Yip Yew Chong.
You will hear stories about Peranakan culture, history and architecture. Many photo taking opportunities as well.
Walk finishes at Duxton Hill.
Plenty of great restaurants and cafes in the area if you'd like to conclude your walk with a dining experience.

Please arrive by 8.55am Walk starts at 9am sharp. Plenty of independent coffee shops nearby the meeting place and we can pause there in case you need a beverage to keep you going. There are more coffee shops along the way for a bathroom break and coffee take away.
