The British Association of Singapore is a not-for-profit organisation which is open to all nationalities from around the world. The BA provides a warm welcome for newcomers to Singapore as well as offering a wide variety of recreational activities in various locations throughout Singapore. We raise funds to support local charities and offer volunteering opportunities within the community.
This will be a relaxing outing to visit the islands of St John's, Lazarus and Kusu just a short ferry ride away from mainland Singapore. The day starts when we meet at Marina South Pier, buy our return ferry tickets and take the 10am ferry crossing to St John's island. For those that wish there's a 5-6 km walk around St John's and over the little causeway to Lazarus island. Back on St John's we can relax on the beach, swim in the sea and enjoy our picnic lunch. Everyone will need to bring their own food and drink enough for the day as there is nothing available on the islands.
At 2.30 the ferry takes us on to Kusu (Turtle island) where we have 1 hour to explore this little island and it's Malay temple. We then get back on to the ferry to return to Marina South Pier at approx 4-415.
