AN EVENING WITH CARLTON PALMER
Growing up in the West Midlands, Carlton Palmer became an elite professional footballer, first with West Bromwich Albion and then with Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United, Southampton, Nottingham Forest and Coventry City – picking up 18 England Caps and then going into management for Stockport County in 2001 and Mansfield Town in 2004 and 2005. But the story he tells goes beyond this, he tells it like is with his famed plain speaking and sharp wit, he takes you into the dressing rooms, regales you with stories about the big names, the big games and even bigger nights out! He shares freely his opinions on the game, its characters and dramas, he is willing to take on tougher subjects like racism in the game and the current state football.
